Countdown to Christmas!Today, when the children were working on their December calendars I noticed more than a few busily counting the days until Christmas. They are sharing stories of making gingerbread houses, magical elves and visits to Santa. The children loved making (and eating) the Ginger Crinkles. Thank you for all your contributions. We cannot have cooking days without your support! I will post a copy of the recipe here and send a paper copy home as well. Apparently we made the hallway smell pretty delicious! Christmas CelebrationThe children are getting excited about performing and decorating cookies with their families on Wednesday, December 14th at 1:30pm. It sounds like we may have a larger audience than anticipated! It's wonderful that so many of you are able to join us. We may be moving our performance to the gym to accomodate the audience. We will let you know if we are able to use the gym. What to wear? No special costumes are required. I have asked the boys to dress "handsome" and the girls to dress "pretty". Whatever they already own is fine. This week we are:- watching a few performances from other classes
